SUUUUCH A GOOD READ. i love how much this pdf goes into technical, mental, and story aspects of each painting!!! hearing where, who, and what each piece came from mixes so well with the more technical details of color, shape, and composition!
one thing that really struck with me hard though was the feeling of burning out. art especially IS a lifelong commitment that people desperately want to get better at!! but it's a commitment that's easy to lose in the pursuit of something "greater." im really glad this pdf goes into that aspect of motivation for a daily challenge like this :^)
thank you so much for taking the time to write this lumi! i really appreciate how receptive you are to reading about those parts of my process. it means a lot to me and words can't express that enough! 💜💛
i'm happy that the discussion on burnout stuck out to you! it felt really important for me to address motivation and the like in the PDF. there are so many instances i've seen my peers (and myself, really) pursuing something at a pace that's unsustainable and i think it's so important to remind people of the greater picture. thank you for choosing to bring it up in your comment it's very appreciated!
